Your name: Asia
Character's Name: Adeline (a-deh-line) Rose Benson
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Vampire Age:N/A
Category: Human
Character History: Was born in Charleston, South Carolina in a small neighborhood near the beach. Growing up, her father was rarely around and spent most of his time in jail due to alcohol abuse and domestic violence. Her mother took on both roles, raising Adeline to be respectful and strong, but she lacked the love of a father figure. As she grew older, she spent most of his time hanging with the wrong crowd and doing the things she had been told would only make her out to be like his father. Soon, it all caught up with her. She was sixteen when she was first arrested on charges of harassment towards a classmate on school property. Another time, she was caught shoplifting. Adeline’s mother finally gave up. Both she and Adeline couldn't live the way they were living and the decision was made to leave town. They moved to Seattle for a few years, her mother working in a small law office within the city. When her job became too busy for even her to handle, Adeline’s mother decided it was time to relax and take a break somewhere more secluded, at least until Adeline was finished with school. And so, they moved to Forks where they remain today, at least for now.
Character Appearance: Adeline is 5”8’, 128 lbs., and has an ectomorph body type (thin, small bone structure, fast metabolism, etc.). She has golden blonde hair, light blue eyes, fair skin, light pink lips, and a round head. Her hair reaches to the middle of her back, and her make-up usually consists of mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. She uses very little concealer and likes her lips to be natural, occasionally applying lip gloss or a sheen chapstick. Her style is usually classic or modern, depending on her mood that day.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths – She is great at math and science, can sing and dance, and is very gifted in drawing and painting. She has good social skills, is consistent when it comes to work, and a true friend to those she is close to. Weaknesses – She has trouble trusting men, is afraid of large dogs, and can’t stand heights. She also is allergic to nuts and pollen.
Personality: She is calm and collected most of the time. She doesn’t like drama and usually isn’t involved in any. She is usually the conciliator or peacemaker; her friends come to her for advice quite a bit. She is talented, smart, and can be pretty whimsical when she wants to be. She is apprehensive about the future and is afraid she won’t make it far because of her family history but she doesn’t let that stop her from at least trying. She tends to help out a lot when it comes to charity and such, but she is not a “save the planet psycho”. She is docile when it comes to being around men and she doesn’t get to clingy or touchy feely either, yet she can get a bit uncomfortable if they come too close due to trust issues. She is witty and is pretty good and making someone feel stupid when in an argument which is something a lot of her friends enjoy.
Her interests include drawing, singing, dancing, running, camping, hanging with friends, and reading. She enjoys being in nature and loves to lie out under the stars just to think. She has a large interest in coffeehouse music and her favorite artist would have to be Thomas Kinkade. She likes poetry reading at small cafés and is in love with the rain.
How is your character related to the story? She attended school in

Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Adeline could already hear the voices and her stomach turned from nervousness. Students passed her quickly, almost pushing her out of the way as they walked towards the school. It seemed as though everyone had already made friends and she instantly felt slightly alone. Her mother was not there to escort her and though she was not a child, she felt out of place without her. She made her way down the walkway, away from the dormitories, her eyes on the large building ahead that seemed to stand many stories in the air. It was almost intimidating, the size of everything around, but she kept her cool, shoving her hands in her pockets, and making her way into the entrance of the school.
Her eyes caught sight of everything around her once inside and it literally took her breath away. It was way larger than she had imagined and already, she was lost. She had no idea where to go or what to do, so she just stood. Students gathered in groups, laughing and joking around. She had already been shown around but had forgotten it all already. She noticed the same woman who had shown her around, Headmistress was her name if she recalled, walking towards the dining hall and many people following. Doing so, she made way into the large room that could seat hundreds. She couldn't help but smile at how lucky she was. She really was going to need to study up on her surroundings so that she wouldn't have any issues when it came time to find her way to classes.
She took a seat in the back, watching as more and more people filed in and took their seats as well. She noticed a few people here and there that she had seen earlier but still knew nothing about them. Taking it all in, she sighed and leaned back in her seat, watching everyone. Her eyes caught small details, as did her ears. She could hear music from iPods playing and certain words in conversations from across the room. She noticed some of the things that people were wearing or had in their hands and she smiled. At least she would eventually tell all of them apart. Her long, blonde hair hung over her shoulders and swayed as she moved her head from left to right, watching everyone. Her light blue eyes glanced around from one person to another and eventually back to the headmistress as she watched her walk around, not planning on speaking too many people here. Besides, she was not exactly in touch with anyone here and a conversation would just seem, well, awkward for her.
