Character History: Malina was born within the Quilette Tribe to two human parents. Her father James and mother Eleanor Huron. The werewolf part of her family must have been somewhere in her genes though because that is what Malina became. Malina was not raised to believe in vampires and werewolves. The beginning of her life was normal. She went to school. Did her work like a good student. Played outside with all of her friends. She was a normal child. But things started to happen, and friends of hers could no longer be around her. Instead they were hanging out with Sam Uley. This kind of hurt seeing as she didn't understand why they were ditching her. So, when she didn't have many people to play with, she turned to books. She would study harder for school and put most of her time into learning new things. This includes Herbology, which she took a liking to.
At the age of sixteen, things changed again. She began to realize why everyone was seeking Sam. This was because he was like them and he understood what they went through, which is what Mali went through as well. Malina changed one night, into something she could not explain at the time. She was having a fight with her parents and out of no where she changed into a wolf. It scared her and she ran from her home, until she was normal again. Sam had found her in the woods and it was because of him that she returned home, unafraid.
Come to find out, her parents knew about these things, but didn't inform her about it. They didn't think she would have to know. Well, guess what? She did. Mali avoided her parents for a while, until she got the hang of things. She didn't have to turn to the books anymore because she could be around her old friends, but that didn't mean she stopped reading, because that was one of her favorite things to do. Now, she is seventeen, still in school, and doing what she can to help the pack and anyone who needs it.
Character Appearance: Malina has semi long dark brown hair that reaches to her shoulder blades. It is naturally wavy, but at times she does wear it straight. She also wears it in many different styles like; ponytail, braid, bun, whatever she feels like doing that day. For clothes, she likes to wear dresses and skirts mainly, but she does enjoy pants as well. She doesn't like a lot of dark colors unless it's her bottoms or shoes. Her tops are usually lighter.

Personality: Malina is what most would call a neighborhood sweetheart. She enjoys helping people and doing what she can to make someone's day. Even if that means acting stupid just to make someone laugh. She is outgoing and tries not to let people get to her, even though most of the time they do. She can't stand to have people hate her. It makes her upset, and sometimes depressed. A lot of people like her because she is easy to get along with, but some don't mainly because they think she sucks up or she is fake. Well, she's not. She is just as loyal and honest as she appears to be. Mali is intelligent and does very well in school. Her studies are one of the more important things in her life. One of her favorite things, that she learned on her own is herbology. She loves to study plants and figure out what they do. Got an ouchie? She can help you heal it right up.
On the down side, she is emotionally weak. This means that sometimes the simple things can hurt her feelings and make her cry. Not only that, but they can set her off, which is why she is labeled as having a short temper. You don't want to make this girl mad because she can be quite harsh when she's angry. Sometimes she is at fault for her hurt. She is one of those people that trusts too easily, which opens a door for people to try and take advantage. Especially when she hates not giving people second chances, sometimes third or fourth.
Malina likes to be around her family and friends. This includes the pack. She loves to hang with them, especially those who like to play around because they always make her laugh. Like mentioned before she is a bookworm. So, she reads a lot. Believe it or not, she does like to fight, or wrestle. If it's a serious fight, she'll be serious, but she just likes to goof off a lot of the time.
Another thing about Malina, which is not liked by some of the pack, is that she has no preference on what you are. She, herself, is a werewolf, but she has no problem befriending someone that is a vampire. Of course, if you try to hurt anyone, she won't take so kindly to you, but other than that, she tries to get along with everyone.
How is your character related to the story? She is part of the pack and doesn't care about what species you are, so she might be of some help when it comes to forming allies.
Sample Rp: The breeze felt nice against her tan skin as Malina sat under a tree with a book in hand. She had always loved to read, but it was because of her friends ditching her that she got into it the most. That was a period of her life that was bittersweet, I guess you could say. But, probably mostly bitter. She had no clue what was going on, and honestly it hurt. She had begun to believe she would never be able to spend time with those friends again, but she was wrong.
Close to the end of being sixteen she found out why they had been leaving her though. They were shapeshifters. Werewolves. Whatever you wanted to call them. And... she was one too. It was so weird to her at first, but then she got used to it, and actually enjoys it. The main reason would be the fact that she had her friends back. But, she didn't drop her books just because she got them back. When they weren't around, that was what she resorted too and the sweet part was the fact that she learned new things that she probably wouldn't have even tried to learn about if it wasn't for what happened.
A sigh escaped from her lips as she closed the book and looked around. She was ready to do something else. Something more exciting. She wasn't quite sure what that something was yet, but she needed to figure it out. Maybe she would go walk around and see if anyone was out and about that she could hang with or just talk to. So, on that note, she pushed herself up off the ground and turned to run right into someone.
