The year is 1674 and the Volturi had been in power for nearly 1180 years. The reception of their claim to power went over fairly well with the reception they received from the vampire race. Aro had created along with the other leaders Caius and Marcus, 1 simple rules that all vampire's had to follow. That simple rule was that never let our presence be known by any human or other species. The reciprocation and negligence of this rule could mean certain death to the person or persons involved with the act.
As of late, Chelsea had been visited by Aro personally that morning and was requested by him to go with the guard to check out and eliminate if necessary a group of nomads which were causing havoc in an neighboring city. She would be going along with Demetri, Alec, Jane and Felix. The highest ranking members of the guard. She nodded in acceptance to the request.
Chelsea's eyes darted to the door which her mate Afron soon stepped through. She went to him and hugged him as she told him what the plans were for her in the coming days. She knew he would object because he wasn't allowed to go this time. But if Aro requested her to help the members of the guard to take care of this matter silently, then it was her pleasure to help him do so.
The days pass and she started to plan how she would act or what she would do if she needed to fight. She was one of those people who didn't like to fight if it was not necessary. Partially it was due to Carlisle Cullen's influence on her on how Killing for reckless reasons was frowned upon.
