Is there any particular reason for choosing this character? I want to test out my writing skills as a canon and I think I'd do well on the part

Sample of Writing (2+ Paragraphs): The Rez was busy that afternoon; The redhead kept escaping the grasps of the Cullen's, as well as the pack. Paul was getting agitated.. well even more than he had been when he first started. The longer she was out there, the more at risk all the humans in town were. Including Emily, his mom and little sister. Good news was, they finally knew what she wanted. Or who. Bella Swann. Of course.
Paul couldn't think of a time when the pale human hadn't caused problems somehow, since running into Jake again a few years back. On top of that, Cullen planned on changing her. As if her consent meant he wouldn't be violating the treaty. A scowl highlighted Paul's features for a brief moment, as he scanned the woods. His nostril flaring, the scent of bleach mixed with sugar making him feel like he'd shoved a hot iron up his nose. He just wanted this to be over with, and Jake to grow a pair and get over Bella already. But of course that was too much to ask.
