Character's Name: Matthew/ ‘Mdot’ August Spellman

Character History:
Matthew was born in Forks, Washington. He became the second child of Dalton and Tracy Spellman, who had his older sister Victoria first. Growing up, his family wasn’t well-off but they got by pretty well. His mom Tracy is the manager at the local organic food store and his dad is an engineer for Forks Electric. Matthew has a dream of becoming a dancer, after watching a performance done by The King and Usher when he was younger. When he was old enough, he signed up for classes at the local dance studio by the border of La Push and Forks. He’s been there for almost ten years, and choreographs hip hop for the younger youth. He is pretty popular at Forks High, and is friendly to everyone.
Character Appearance:
‘Mdot’ has a light skin tone and hardly any hair. He’s tall for his age, standing at the height of 6’1. He’s lean but has muscle to him since he likes to hang out in the gym and he also dances. He has dark brown eyes and somewhat long eyelashes for a male. He has dimples and thinks his smile is his best asset. He likes to keep his outfits casual and believes a fresh pair of sneakers is what makes an outfit.
Strengths/Weaknesses: (At least 3 of each)
Strengths: Mdot is a very loyal character, always sticking up for his friends/family and backing them up. He is also an overall nice guy, giving the rudest people another try since he believes everyone has a bit of good in them. Another strength of his is that he is very athletic and healthy, so he is able to physically keep up with anything. He achieves the honor roll in school and is part of the male gospel choir.
For a guy, Mdot is pretty sensitive and can be easily hurt. He is also very relaxed, which can be bad at the times for the times he needs to be a bit more serious. He sometimes has a problem on being on time with things too.

Mdot is your friendly guy. The guy who cracks a joke in class and makes everyone laugh. Mdot is cool and collected, usually just going with the flow of things. He can keep a secret and offers anyone a ride when they need it.
Mdots passion is for dance, but he also loves playing old school videogames. Donkey Kong is his favorite. He also loves cheeseburgers and coke, a typical American guy. Besides dancing, he also likes to play basketball and swim. He likes to have a good time and live out his youth.

Mdot quenched for thirst. He didn’t tire out often when it came to dancing, but today was grueling since they had a battle this weekend. He waited until the song ended before going over to his Gatorade bottle, drinking down the blue liquid quickly. Bending down, he checked to see if he had any missed text messages. A few from Victoria, one from Brendan, and two from Alana. He skipped automatically to the last two, grinning when he read what they said.
‘Dinner sounds great.’ He responded before putting the phone down. Alana was the girl he had been wanting. She was sweet but strong, and the girl knowing how to cook was a major plus. She was already talking to him about how she wanted him to meet her parents. He was honored, but he couldn’t fight the nerves building in him. What if her dad hated him? What about her mom? What if he didn’t make the good guy impression he usually did?
The co-coach said he was ready to move on and Mdot nodded. They needed to get this dance down before they left here today. His team and him needed the winning battle money. Slowly getting up, Mdot jogged into place and faced the mirror.
“Let’s do this.”
