Your name: Katyy
Character's Name: Robert Travis Hobbes
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Category: Human
Character History: Robert was born eight days after his cousin Nathan in the town of Spokane, Washington. His parents went on to have another boy and two girls. His father is the twin of William Hobbes, the superintendent over at FISD. His father, Wesley, had bigger dreams than ending up in Forks, though Rob doesn't think Spokane is much better. He was raised up in the same way Nate was and spent a lot of time with his three cousins from Forks. He has always lived a priviledged life, getting whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted it. His parents pushed him to sing and dance and act, knowing he had potential in the arts. He plays football for Spokane, but only because it's something else he can rival his perfect cousin in. They taught him nothing of humility, just to always give it his all. When his parents adopted the twins, an Asian boy and girl, things seemed to change. His parents thought he was hanging out with a 'tougher' crowd for the attention, when really the Spokane boys had always been that way. When Robert was almost in a fight with some of the outsiders, his parents decided to act. A semester with his aunt and uncle who were much more appreciative of curfews and rules, things Robert has never been accustomed to...
Character Appearance: Robert has pretty eyes. Eyes that draw you in. His hair is wavy, brown. He and his cousin Nate might have a battle of the hair, that's how much he cares for it. He is tall. Good physique.
Strengths: Confident. Smart. Talented. Robert uses these things to make things go his way.
Weaknesses: Lack of humility. No history of discipline. A personality that his cousins loathe. These things work against him in his new location.
Personality: Robert is determined in everything he sets his mind to. Wheteher that's pursuing a girl or playing football or auditioning for a solo in Spokane's show choir. This attitude normally works for him, and results in getting whatever he thinks he needs. Sometimes, his determination is detremental to others around him, but that has never bothered him before.
His mother has more influence on him, really. His father is a 'good ole boy' like Bill, just a bit of a dreamer. His mother is the perfect trophy wife, who did her tours on Broadway and has nothing but big dreams for each of her children. Both of his parents have big hearts, though, and sometimes when you're not expecting it, you catch that in Robert.
How is your character related to the story? Robert is from Spokane, Washington. He knows the legends of the wolves but think they are stupid bed time stories. Small town life doesn't appeal to him. He might never know about vampires or the actual existence of wolves, but he is moving to the center of all of the mythical action.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Robert pulled up in his mom's Prius. Part of the 'solution' was taking his car away from him. Robert huffed thinking about it. He hadn't done anything wrong. He didn't choose for the fight to happen at all, much less out in the open like that. But, if he were trying to look at the situation positively, the Prius was much better on gas. This meant the trips out to Spokane wouldn't hurt his wallet that much. Which meant he could get back to his friends and to the girl who waited for him whenever he felt like he needed to.
That girl, Rachel, she was a good girl. Lively, bull-headed, talented like him. They would have been the perfect couple, the dream team, the dynamic duo. But maybe they're dreams were too big for each other. A little time apart was probably best for them. Besides, he wasn't going to find "the one" in the tiny town of Forks, was he?
