Your name: Lance
Character's Name: Lance Vulpes
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Vampire Age: N/A
Category: Human
Character History: Born into the south of Florida to a single mother, father having been murdered. Traveled across country before becoming an orphan at age 13. Adopted by the State of Tennessee before running away to the west coast, stealing food and camping in the woods. Stayed with random people who would take him in for a few days before running off in the night with a few valuables. Working his way up to the Pacific Ocean, his journey taking years after he became an orphan, finds out there is no real happiness where he thought there would be. Walking up north he passes a sign saying Welcome to Forks, Washington.
Character Appearance: 6'0" with long brown hair and honey brown eyes, wears torn blue jeans and faded AC/DC T-shirt with a leather jacket (keepsake is mother keep of his father's) with some old steel toe boots, a metal chain carried on a pouch by his side and a backpack full of stolen supplies and money, few mismatched rings line his fingers and a bead work necklace around his left wrist
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths: Confident, Resourceful & Clever
Weaknesses: Proud, Stubborn, Untrusting
Personality: Having been on the run for the past six years he has had no time for anything other than martial arts and survival, he enjoys the outdoors and can’t stand to be inside small rooms for long periods of time. He takes pleasure in the small things like walking outside and looking at nature or simply talking to a complete stranger before he leaves. He enjoys all kinds of food other than most vegetables (having been stealing most of his food for a long time, he never bothered with vegetables). He loves music and finds himself hiding out beside some place where music will play so he can relax for a few minutes.
He likes to take it slow and taught himself to carve and carries at least one block of wood and a knife. He practices martial arts in the woods with a stolen police baton. He longs to learn to play music and have permanent friends. He has an appreciation for people who stand up for what they believe in but has no respect for people he sees as weak, he will not start trouble for that would slow him down, but he will avoid the person or remove them from him. His trust issues leave him emotionally raw but longing for at least one true friend.
How is your character related to the story? Immigrant to Forks meeting the locals and possibly becoming a student when someone does an act of kindness for him making him want to stay in Forks. Then he could go and either stay human or become a new born vamp if it was wanted or needed, but has no intentions when he arrives in forks to be a vampire, that may change.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Blue lights illuminated the trees casting long shadows through the woods. Lance had stayed to long again, he ran run out through the woods never looking back, he could not risk his night vision to looking to see if he would be followed. Suddenly someone slammed into him from the side dragging both of them down the hill. Tossing and tumbling he cast of his would be attacker and turned to face him, ducking just under the baton the officer had swung at him. Rising from his crouch he punches the officer in and upper cutting motion before spinning on his foot and kicking out behind him, grinding his foot into the cop’s chest. Winded the officer rolls over momentarily stunned, reaching down Lance grabs the baton, running away while collapsing it to fit better in his pocket, all the while his backpack swaying from side to side, thank god he had nothing easy broken.
He ran till he was exhausted but still he kept on, he has gotten a lot of practice at running over the years so he kept his footing on the uneven forest floor. He chanced going by the side of the road a few miles up to cross. Not bothering to wait he took off around the tree across the road, stopping and laying low as a car rushes past, way too fast for a cop. Walking along the side of the road he sees a sign saying “Welcome to Forks, Washington” thinking to himself, ‘have I really been running all this time that I made it finally to Washington and I didn’t notice?’ shaking his head the trudged on up the road, he would have to find a place to sleep soon, probably in another tree again since the cops had found him again, “Why can’t I ever stay anywhere?” he mumbled under his breath.
