Your name: Addi (not my real name, but oh well. lol)
Character's Name: Addison Paige McKinley (Addi)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
DOB: 2/10/1993
Category: Human! (represent)
Character History:
Addison was born to college sweet-hearts James and Susan McKinley on February 2nd, 1993. She was the first of two daughters the couple would have. When her father got a better job in Olympia, her family uprooted- just after the birth of Bethany. The sisters were best friends, inseperable. The day after Addi turned 17, her sister went missing. Her parents stayed united and searched for her, clinging onto the hope that she was alive but Addi knew better: she had lost her other half.
Her family moved back to Forks in May after her dads parents convinced them that being around their relatives was imperative to 'healing.' Now, she's starting her senior year in at Fork High School. Most kids would be devastated at the change, but she welcomes it. A new start, new friends. People who could appreciate Addison for Addison.
Character Appearance: Addison has dark brown/black hair. Big brown eyes that she highlights with a lot of make-up. She's 5'2 and slim, but not so skinny you can see her ribs. Healthy.
Strengths:
Holding her own. She won't back down if confronted, but typically doesn't do the confronting.
Appreciating people. After losing her sister, she has a new appreciation for her friends and family.
Fiercy Loyalness Once you're a friend, you might as well be family. She'd do anything for you.
Weaknesses:
Her sister Her sister was her best friend. Losing her rocked her world in a bad way. Now she is trying to figure out who she is without Bethany.
Her parents She's always been the good kid, and her parents expect good grades and practically perfection. The pressure makes her want to rebel somehow.
Her attitude She's always been either the goofball or the B***h, and sometimes her crazy attitude can make other people feel uncomfortable.
Personality:
Addison is crazy. She'll do anything to get a rise out of people, including dressing up in a panda costume for a bonfire or sing kareoke standing on her head. The more outlandish she is, the less people ask about her life at home. The less she has to talk about Bethany when she doesn't want to.
Addison likes to make things. Scrapbooks, art, stage productions. If she keeps her hands busy, she's okay. She can play the guitar well and the piano on a very basic level. She has a good home life and is learning more about who she is and how to live without her 'other half.' And she's just fun.
How is your character related to the story? Addison was born in Forks, but moved to Olympia at the age of 3. Now, after the disappearance (vampire attack) of her sister, her family has decided to move back home to be closer to their family.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Addison walked into the lunchroom, fixing the bright barrette in her hair as she walked. She spotted a few different tempting lunch tables. One was full of kids her own age, who were laughing and throwing tater tots into each others mouth. One was full of kids who seemed to be a little younger, their books sprawled out infront of them. The last table she even considered was empty. Sitting alone wasn't going to help her make friends here, so she crossed that option out immediately.
Looking back to the first table, she saw someone who she knew. A girl who was on her sisters gymnastics team. Since the disappearance they had stayed in touch, so maybe it wouldn't be so wierd if she sat with her. Without questioning it too much, she went and stood behind the empty chair. Looking at the rest of the inhabitants, she noticed a boy from her Calculus class and a girl who was some kind of morning office aid. Is this seat taken? She smiled at the table, hoping for the first sign of approval.
