The sun set over the high sand dunes giving them a firery glow. Tia sighed softly, pulling her shawl around her shoulders. Leaning against the bay door frame, Tia felt the wind against her face. She smiled as Benjamin came to her mind. He had gone out into the desert to practice his gifts. His powers always amazed Tia, Being able to control elements was a huge responsibility. Of course, Tia sometimes made him use them to her advantage.
The sun had finally fallen behind the dunes, deep into the desert. Stars glowing, and the moon shining its amazing light over the sand, Tia lite a few candles leaving her bedroom doors open out over the balcony. Benjamin would be home soon. She grabbed her book sliding into the large bed they shared.
Opening to the page she bookmarked, Tia eyes scanned the words using the candle light as it glowed off her skin.
