Okay so the first set of poetry im putting up is from 7th grade and in a cute little think i had to make by hand so I'm sorry if it's immature-ish.
Now everything else will be more recent seeing as that was more the 3 years ago. So I will tell you when I get them up!
No Picture Perfect Horse
My life ain't a picture perfect horse, sis
I've been riding the horse that no one wants
The rain rot won't come off
Some bruises will never leave
I would be bouncing real bad in the saddle
My life ain't a picture perfect horse, sis
I've been up and down hills with my horse
Chased the sunset with my horse
Ran after my dreams with my horse
People would stop and stare, but we just kept moving
My life ain't a picture perfect horse, sis
Running from danger or trouble
Stopping when we needed to
Never giving up on our dreams
Crying, anger, and happiness were normal things
Even if life ain't a picture perfect horse
A Pawn to a Horse
Once there was a horse named Red
Who meet a man named Ted
Ted tried to get on
And became a pawn
As he hit his head
All Alone Pig
In a house in Bel Air
There lives a pig named Hair
Rolling in mud
Without a bud
No game was fair
I'm Nothing But a Firework
Can't you see my pretty lights?
From way down there with fright
The way I see it
Is nothing but a sight of joy
I jump into the air
Feeling the breeze in my face
You watch my friends burst open
The colors are oh so bright
As I get higher and higher into the air
I look down with fear
That I may suffer the same fate as my friends
I don't want to burst open
Even if it means I won't stop going up
I will keep my colors to myself
Until the right time
I burst open
And show you my colors
For I am nothing but a firework
Stars on our Planet
There are big stars
And small stars
There are stars that can sing
When the doorbell rings
Stars that act
And stars that seem fat
A star is up in the sky
But you can't touch them when you fly
When they're on the go
Satrs go with the flow
Some hide behind the clouds
Perhaps they're not too proud
The moon sits beside the stars
No one really knows how far
When the stars say good bye
They leave the world and die
Spring Break Dream
Walking in a line
I stop in a hurry
A figure is coming towards me
The face so long and tender,
The eyes I could not see,
The ears so high they would touch the sky
Legs like a tree trunk,
Body like a lion,
And a tail, that can't grow any longer
Soon I sse the figure,
The figure like no other,
An elephant, a horse, a lion, a rabbit, and a snake, too
All these things,
I see by the sea,
Just the creature like no other and me
I open my eyes
And looked into the dark
Lying in bed, I say
"What a great Spring Break Dream."
Lovers Grave
"The stars are gone
The moonlight hides behind the clouds
You can't stop the world from spinning
Because that's what keeps us all alive.
Don't turn your back on me my love
For I shall say goodbye one more time
We shall meet again in the future
And kiss in the light of the moon."
Joy went back the next night
And waited for Steve in the moonlight
He never showed up
"I'll be here again tomorrow night."
Joy went back again
And waited till the end
The sun shined down
"Don't let me say it again."
Next Joy went there with a sword
"We shall meet again, so poor,
At heavens gate or in hell."
Joy stabbed herself, and along came some boars
They never did meet again
Even though Joy waited till the end
One went heaven and the other to hell
The moonlight was there to the end
They where buried beside each other
They never said goodbye to their mothers
Sleeping in peace, or at least they thought
For some one knew better than a brother
Friesian Horse
Strong and tall
Some of your cousins are small
You are black
But not a cat
A nice steady jog
You don't eat like a hog
Working your way up to a run
Your hair flies gently in the sun
Feared by most
Loved by a host
Wearing fear in your eyes
You get bit by flies
Would you knock me off if I got on?
Do you live with a fawn?
Do you win many contests?
What is your purpose?
Can you jump over the moon?
I know you can't eat with a spoon
Do you carry pride and joy?
Can you play with a toy?
Strong and tall
Some of your cousins are small
A friesian horse
You are of course
Friends
Can a friend be nice?
Can a friend have mice?
Friends arewhat make life interesting
But that can be sliced
Friends that you can talk to
And friends that will always love you
These are the ones you'll keep
Because no matter what they'll always forgive you
They're always there
To help with your hair
And to give advice
And always care
Friends are what keep you in line
So you won't loose your mind
Where ever you go
They are always there to give you a sign
Can a friend be nice?
Can a friend have mice?
Friends are what keep life interesting
But that can be sliced
