Character History: Cherry is from Music City. She dropped out of High School when she was 17 years old. Her parents then disowned her because her excuse was "What I'm learning there isn't gonna help me get where I want to be." Cheryl Tyler then adopted the name "Cherry Steel" and has been traveling the U.S. looking for a sponsor. It just so happens that in Seattle is a huge producer who may fall in love with her Rock N' Roll style, voice, and electric guitar. Cherry planned on moving there but she can't afford a house in Seattle so she bought a small house in Forks. Slowly, she is falling in love with this town.
Character Appearance: Cherry is tall and thin. She doesn't really have much to show off, if you know what I mean. Her skin is very pale and her hair is short and jet black. Her eyebrows are arched but not like, crazy arched. Her eyes are a dark green that are often rimmed with black eyeliner. She often wears black, white, red, and dark blue. Most of the time she carries either a guitar case or blue backpack. Guys try to talk to Cherry but most of the time she is too busy practicing, but that's how you'll recognize her.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Her strengths are: she's tough, she's smart, and creative. Her weaknesses are: she's quick-tempered, stubborn, and easy to get jealous.
Personality:
Cherry follows the motto: To fit in is to disappear. That is the last thing Cherry wants to do. She does NOT want to disappear. Cherry is also a force to be reckoned with. You can't insult her in anyway and not expect to receive something equally severe in return.
Despite her tough facade, she is very smart and sensitive to other's needs. If she saw someone crying, rest assured she would be by their side immediately.... and ask who made them cry so she could go bury them. Guys are not what Cherry wants to focus on at the moment. SHe's far too into her music, but despite her not wanting to fall for anyone... she is prone to fall for any guy who appreciates her music and knows how to have a good time. That's it really.
How is your character related to the story? Cherry just moved from Music City in search of an agent. Now she finds herself in love with Forks and unable to leave.

Cheryl's new apartment was empty of everything but a laptop(with stolen internet), a cell phone(with stolen service), a suitcase full of clothes(stolen from home), an air mattress(stolen from home), and of course, her guitar and amp. At the moment she was writing her first song on a paper napkin from Mc Donald's. It was about her parents kicking her out of the house. Earlier today she had gone online and found an agent in Seattle. Apparently he was really good. Also, homes were very expensive in Seattle. Luckily she had found some really cheap apartments outside Seattle in a town called Forks. Now she just had to figure out how she was gonna get there with twenty five dollars. It was a long way from music city to the northwest.
She wouldn't get much attention with a name like Cheryl Tyler when and if she got there. Then her eyes got wide as she realized a good name for her. Cherry Steel. Just like her, soft and tough. Quickly, Cherry packed her bags and left everything but her laptop, phone, clothes and guitar and amp. It was time for a change.
