Character History: Raelyn was born in Inchiquin ,County Clare, Ireland to a family of 6. She was the only daughter of Mary and Seamus O'Grifee. When the Potato Famine hit, her father and brothers left before her and her mother for America to set up a better life. One night, before the boat left, she and her mother went to a pub in Queens-town for the last time. After becoming drunk, she went off with a beautiful man on her own. In the heat of the moment, he bit her and left her in the dark alley. The first thing she remembers after the pain was waking up and being alone. She went and hunted off the dying people in Ireland. After she gained control of herself, she started traveling with a small group, but shortly detached herself when the family was called away to America. When they returned they told her of how this family lived off of animals instead of humans. She decided she wanted to try it. Now she is on a boat to come to America and try her chances in Washington state.
Character Appearance: Raelyn is a traditional Irish Rose. She has a wild, curling red mane that reaches to the middle of her back. Her skin is fair as snow and shines in the sun like Waterford Crystal was planted into her skin. Her eyes are an orange-yellow color, seeing as she is not completely decided on her diet. She is tall and willowy. She is the stereotypical Irish woman.

Personality: most of her humanity with her in her personality. She is very sweet and caring. Raelyn is also very determined at whatever task she is trying to complete. As perfect as that seems, Raelyn also brought along her negative traits. She has a very hot Irish temper. She is also impulsive. When you pair those two traits together, you have a lot of trouble. Most of the time these traits are masked by her caring and acceptances.
She loves to sing and dance. She also acts and writes. At one point, she was a rein-actress for an Irish castle. She is constantly on the lookout for the perfect man. Maybe it will happen in Forks. With her new diet, even human guys are now in her reach. Raelyn hopes this is a place where she can settle down, but she will have to check with the current coven living there.
How is your character related to the story? She is connected through the family her old coven interacted with. She stayed with Maggie and her coven. She also hopes to meet the Cullens herself.

Raelyn looked out at the plane.
It's amazing how far humanity has come in 80 years.' She thought to herself. She had waited 80 years to go to America, and now here she was. Her chance was here, but she was alone. That was a huge disappoint, but hopefully it would be dealt with soon. She now had all these opportunities rising up to meet her. This was going to be interesting.
The boarding call was made for her seating area. Raelyn picked up her carry-on and made her way to her seat. She was so happy she had just fed. She wasn't sure she could handle 8 hours, non-stop on a plane full of humans if she hadn't. She was ready.
She was on her way to Seattle, Washington to try her luck. As soon as she got there, she would pick up a car, and drive to the hole-in-the-wall town of Forks. There, she would check with the existing coven to see if it would be to much trouble for her to bunker down in that area for awhile.
After reviewing her plan, Raelyn came to her senses. While she had been doing this, her neighbor for the next eight hours had sat down. He wasn't that bad looking either, for a human that is. She put on a brilliant smile.
"Hello," she began, " I'm Raelyn. Sorry if I interrupt you in anyway on this flight. It's my first time on a plane." 'That sounds human enough.,'she decided, her mind. After that, she turned towards the window to look over and say good-bye to her long time home. As the plane took off, she slipped her eyes close to wait out her torture.
