Prologue
Justin stared at the chess board that was sitting on the table in front of him . Screams filled his ears but he had learned long ago how to block the cries of the damned from his ears you had to a Person could go crazy from the screams. A Single droplet of blood dripped from his forehead landing on the chess board the crown he wore digging deeper his head but as with the screams he had gotten used to it was by far the most endurable of the tortures inflicted on him daily well daily wasn’t quite right there was no difference between night or day here and in his cell there were no windows so it hardly mattered anyway. Thankfully being in this hole didn’t mean he was cut off from what was going on, on the outside. Management had announced that the time was upon them time to release the Number one prisoner here but first they wanted to set the board and make sure they traded a few players. Justin reached out and grabbed the black knight and moved it into play. The world was changing yet again but it was always changing wasn’t it? First there were they pagans who filled many of the cells in this prison Christians who thanks to a doctrine of a loving god weren’t ending up here well most Christians didn’t end up here but as the years grew on more and more arrived with drugs and alcohol adiction being how they are he was surprised there weren’t more Christians here . Atheists now that had been something management had cooked up and it was working just the way they wanted as more and more people denied Gods existence more and more people ended up finding out that not only was there a God but he took that Whole “I am the lord your God though shall not have false Gods before me” pretty fawking serious and the best part was that God being a follower of the rules he had set down for himself couldn’t do anything but send the non-believers here it sucked big-time Justin knew but hey at least they hadn’t tried to kill God himself , that was Justin’s and about 7 others. He shook his head clearing his mind once more, he refused to think about that know there would be a time in the future when he could and would face his crimes but not now, now he was concerned with the Pale horseman and what Managements plans were for Allister Azreal Miachelson.
Chapter I
It began on a pleasant spring morning in April. i was taking a stroll through times square which had become a routine for me one of the few I still allowed myself. I listened Quietly to the people bustling around me ignoring my presence my existence, and I liked it that way it made it easier to move about my own way and avoid the police you see everyone is supposed to be in the care of a parent or gaurdian if they are under the age of 20 my problem is i dont have anything like that at least, not that i know of . My parents had died in a fire sevreal months earlier and ever since i had been on the run from the age police who would put me in a orphanage to rot for two years. I picked up a newspaper from the stand that stood outside the starbucks Mainstreet no one looked at me more than once just some punk kid they thought nothing else to see there i look like that on purpose to avoid attention and it works pretty damn good. I walked afew blocks before i arrived in timesquare i walked to the nearest bus bench and sat down on a bench and began to read one of the main articles with little intrest.

NEW YORK TIME’s
WAR ON THE HORIZON
By Jackson Davis
It has been 30 years since a great civil
War broke out between the east and
The west . the conflict lasted 7 years
And claimed 64,000,000 lives finally
A cease fire was declared and the
West took all the territory west of
The Mississippi river and declared
Themselves the western states of
America. Relationships between
Washington dc and the west’s
Capital Denver have been tense
Ever since. Now It seems that
Rising tensions my push both
Countries into a full on World
War IV .
I sighed and looked up from my paper and into the crowd we never learn do we? one conflict after another, brother killing brother for the benifit of a anothers pocket I thought sadly folding the paper. That’s when a noticed a man dressed in all black heading in my direction. He was tall with what a appeared to be a medium build he wore a black robe with the hood drawn up over his head hiding his face which I found odd especially in this day and age i was suprised to say the least that a man like this had escaped my attention until he was only yards away . I began to look for a way out of the man’s way that would bring the least amount of attention to me.
As i began to moved My eyes caught a flash of white and I felt a small prick in the center of my chest. Looking down I saw a small dart empting its contents into my chest.
“Shit” I muttered pulling the dart from my chest and dropping it to the ground where it seemed to dissolve into a puddle of goo. I blinked struggiling to concentrate I looked back to where I had see the man last but he was gone without a trace it was almost as if he had never existed at all. My vision began to cloud and the light began to dim. Whatever the darts contents it worked faster than I thought soon id pass out. Damn it I thought blinking intensely trying in vain to clear my vision. So many thoughts began racing through my mind who shot me? Was it the man in the cloak? It had had to be him, who was he ? a cop? No cops would only have tranqed me if I was a threat. A bounty hunter than, yes that made sense but tranqs are very expensive and the bounty on my head is only 20,000 mabye it wasnt even the man mabye there never was a man to begin with. I stumbled into a nearby alleyway if I was going to pass out I might as well pass out somewhere away from the crowded square. As I entered the alleyway my knees buckled and collapsed beneath me, the rest of my body wasn’t far behind. Rolling onto my back I stared towards the clouds that were darkening the sky into a deep gray color. Then I passed into unconsciousness.
Chapter 2
When I awoke it became clear to me that I had been out for a few hours if not days.
I was in a small room that appeared to be a holding cell complete with bars on the door and window. I was laying in a bunk with no mattress and the spring dug into my back cutting deeper all the time, I tried to move my arms and legs and found I couldn’t whoever had put me into this room had possibly injected something into me that immobilized me. My head was turned towards the door at least so I could achieve a view of this closet sized cell. There was a toilet and a sink no mirror not that I expected one in a cell. The door was wooden and from behind it I could hear the most horrible noises. There were shouts of joy cries of agony among shouts of anger and cheering. One voice in particular rose above the others, it was deep and had a air of authority with it.
“Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the forest interludes new York branches 3rd annual Russian roulette tournament!” more cheers followed and My heart stopped, the forest interlude I thought swolling back the bile that began to build in the back of my mouth as fear began to spread through my veins like wildfire. I’m going to die.
. the forest interlude, was and is the biggest criminal organization in the world. The sold drugs prostitutes and basically they controlled the entire country through fear. The cops couldn’t catch them or the wouldn’t. the Interlude was ruthless and they could do just about anything, and I had just been dragged into one of there Russian Roulette tournaments and once here I was going to be forced to play until I died.damn it how could i have been so careless? the forest interlude had to have been following me for days if not weeks to make sure i was alone and had noone to miss me if i died.
I closed my eyes in despair part of me wished it had been bounty hunters that found me at least then i would live
“god Help me” I choked out. Then out of Nowhere a deep booming laugh filled the room and my eyes shot open, standing in the corner was the man from the street the man with the robe. His hood was down now and I could see his face, He had his head shaved bald and he had strange tattoos that ran across his broad face. His eyes were blank exept for a pair of blood red pupils that where staring directly at me. I imagine the complete dread I was feeling showed on my face because a smile played in his red full lips exposing his dazziling white teeth. And in a velvety haunting voice that was as smooth as silk he spoke.
“God can’t help you Allister Miachelson….. but I can “
