Character History: Lena was born in America on March 11th, 1880. She had no problems in her life when she was young, her family was fairly wealthy and she had food to eat and water to drink. Though, when she was 11, she met a girl older than her, Amelia, who appeared to stay the same for the years Lena knew her. When Lena was 17, Amelia had told her the reality of the myths. Vampires were real. Lena was turned after begging on her knees and crying. Unlike most vampires, she remembers her past almost completely. Since Amelia had revealed the secret, she was killed by the Volturi.
Character Appearance: Lena has light blue eyes when quenched, and plain brown eyes when thirsty. She has platinum blonde hair, and her height is on the short side in the average zone. She looks very tough, though is shy. She dyes her hair from time to time, sometime she makes it regular blonde and sometimes she keeps it platinum.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths: She is extremely fast and flexible, more than the average vampire. She also has a very good nose. Weaknesses: She is not as strong as most vampires, and it seems her eyesight isn't as good as an average vampire's. She is very attracted to the scent of flowers, making them a weakness.
Personality: Lena is quiet, kind, and unusual. She dresses differently, though not always in the latest fashion. She loves music, and is very good at singing and playing the guitar. Though she is the quiet type, when she's in a fight, she's in it to win it, and won't walk out of a room without her way. You see a dramatic difference when she's talking to a human and talking to a vampire, she tends to talk more with her own kind.
How is your character related to the story?: Lena is new, and used to be an American nomad, traveling on her own. She has settled for Forks since she heard others are around the area and plans to buy a house there. She is open to becoming friends with the vampires, and even with some humans.

Starlene walked into the cafeteria, looking around. The scent of human filled her nose. There were other vampires around, the smell coming to Lena almost as strong as the human's. She would have to get used to the smell, and being the 'new kid.' She looked down, and noticed her feet were still in the same spot as before. She took a step, then another. Lena's shoes were dark violet Converse, words drawn in highlighter on them to make her seem 'normal'. Whatever that was. She stopped concentrating on the little things, and moved onto the big picture: Introducing herself to the other vampires.
She forced herself to walk faster. Lena heard the mumbles. Just walk faster, you will hardly hear them, Lena thought. But the mumbles were like yells, the teenagers whispering about the new girl as too hard to ignore. There was also the 'Cullens.' The Cullens? It wasn't familiar to Lena, but some girl said Lena would fit right in with them. Lena had a feeling the Cullens were the other ones. The other vampires. Shoe wondered if she should approach them, or sit alone and wait for them to see her. Lena slowly walked, step by step, to the table of the teenagers with the pale faces.
"Hi, I'm Lena," she said, almost in a whisper.
