Character's Name: Aiden Alexander Messer
Gender: Male
Age: Seventeen
Category: Human
Character History:
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Aiden is from a family of five. He is the oldest of his siblings, and is the only boy in the family. His two younger sisters are thirteen and nine and Aiden, nicked ‘Messer’, is very protective of them. His mom, Janet, creates jewelry- specializing in gems since Idaho is known for them. His dad, Trevor, owned a hardware store a couple stores down. Janet and Trevor met randomly in a coffee shop one day, neither of them pursuing a college education and just believing in working hard. After dating three years, they got married and started their family. When Messer turned fourteen, his parents informed him that they would be moving to Forks, Washington since his father was offered a bigger hardware store to run. Messer moved to Forks with an open heart and made friends pretty quickly due to his sweet-nature. He plays football and baseball for Forks High, where he is now a junior.
Character Appearance:
Aiden looks older than he actually is due to his built body and matured face. Aiden stands at the height of 6’3 and was given his mother’s lean frame. Aiden has light brown eyes and short dark brown hair that he’ll either leave free or gel back when the occasion calls for it. He isn’t one to dress up, but will do so if necessary. He prefers a pair of jeans that he’s allowed to get dirty, a pair of work boots, and a plain solid t-shirt.
Strengths/Weaknesses: (At least 3 of each)
Strengths: Messer is a sweetheart. He doesn’t like to see anyone hurt or upset. He is also a pretty charismatic guy, having to be imaginative and silly since he hangs out with his kid sisters a lot. He is also good at picking up on how other people are feeling at the time, so he knows when someone needs to be left alone or needs a shoulder to cry on. Messer’s qualities have made him to be a fan of the ladies, but he’s modest about it. He’s not one for attention.
Since Messer is kind, he has a hard time saying no to people or rejecting himself. He’ll put himself in a situation he doesn’t want to be in just to make someone else content. He also has bad luck when it comes to sports, so he gets injured a lot and has faced a couple of concussions. Messer is a pretty protective guy of the people he becomes close with, so you’re personally offending him if you try to hurt anyone he’s close to.
Personality: (At least 2 paragraphs. Includes hobbies and interests)
Messer is an outdoors guy. He rather be outside fishing, playing a sport, or hiking rather than being inside all day. He enjoys going out to parties, but would rather be the one making sure everyone else is okay rather than getting hammered. He doesn’t shine in school academically, but he gets by pretty well. He likes history because the stories of the past.
When Aiden is going through a rough time, he tends to take his aggression out in the sports he plays. He doesn’t want to bog people down although probably talking about things is the best for him. He can get rather bashful and shy around the girls he likes, but his sport teams have helped him with his self confidence and modesty.
How is your character related to the story? Human that has grown up in Forks.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Rain was a blessing. He was still sore from the game yesterday, so he was glad his coach called practice off for the day. He turned in his bed, wondering what he was going to do with his free afternoon. His parents had been invited to a party that was strictly just for adults at one, so he would be stuck at the house alone. Grabbing his cell phone, he looked down at his contacts. He smiled when he saw Hollie J was the first text to come up.
Hollie J; his lucky charm and the reason why his team had won yesterday. At least, he believed that to be true. He blinked a couple times, reliving yesterday through a flash of memories. It had been a dream to him really. His team won and he played well, Hollie came to watch him play, and later he had the nerve to ask her to go steady with him. He couldn’t believe it when she agreed. He still couldn’t believe it.
Sitting up, he brushed the sleep from his eyes. He knew he promised Hollie J to a personal batting session but the rain had cancelled that idea for the day. The one dollar theater to see Tangled was her next option, and since his kid sisters dragged him to see it when it first came out, he was actually looking forward to the movie date. He thought it was pretty funny, and with Hollie J by his side, the movie could only be better.
