Cindy Paige Caine was born to a normal family of 4 in California, USA. She is the youngest in her home, having loving parents and an amazing brother who is 6 years older than she is.
Her dad is a professor at Humphreys College. He is an easy-going man with a funny attitude who likes to crack jokes at times. Her mom is a very old fashioned lady, who insisted girls must wear dress and love pink and have a nice girly name. But Paige is being closer to her brother, who graduated to be a cop.
Paige stopped using her first name Cindy since she was 7 and was laughed by all her friends, who keep calling her Candy Cane. Up until now, everyone around her knows her as Paige Caine, and only her mom insisted on calling her Cindy.
3 years ago, Cindy's brother went missing on a case of unsolved murder. Her family was devastated, and although she suspected there are more to the story, the police closed this case and gave up searching for her brother 3 months later, as there was no evidence, no lead and no further murder occur for the 3 months after.
Her family had a small funeral for her brother, and moved on. They have sold their house in California and moved to Texas after the tragedy. But Paige never give up. She swore to herself she is going to find out what happened to her brother and will never believe that he is dead until she finds his corpse.
She trained her best and made it into the FBI so that she can follow this case on her own. And when she is on the cases, she has discovered that this murder has more to it than what it seems to be...
Character Appearance:
Standing at 5'1, Paige doesn't seems like a lot. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, just like any other girl in her town. Her attractiveness is that she has a bright smile, and has a "cold beauty" appearance when she is serious.
Her hair is at the past shoulder length, goes well between straight and curly. She seldom put on makeups when she has a choice.
Dedicated on her job, Paige does monitor her own fitness, and she has a good body which she doesn't always show off. She can dress up when she wants to, but normally, she just loves to goes with jeans/ pants, anything which make her work easier. On a rare occasion, she will wear some dresses.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
Paige is hardworking, she always takes tasks on her own hands and will finish things on time. As a perfectionist, she will always give her best at her work too. She is pretty friendly off work, and is able to chat on almost everything, easy-going and loves to make friends. She has a good relationship with her fellow workers in the police station.
Weaknesses
Stubborn to the bones, Paige never takes no once she decided to do something. She is also headstrong and will take everything onto her hands until she has too much to work on. She is someone who never stops worrying about others. Somehow, even been through everything she has, Paige never learns to protect her heart, wearing her heart on her sleeves. Somehow, Paige is too dedicated into her work and obsession on finding her brother, she never thought of love, and never been in love.
Personality:
Stubborn, headstrong, and dedicated seems to covered Paige's biggest trait. She is one of the agent who gotten promotion in the shortest time. With her obsession on finding out what happened to her brother pushing her forward and making her working her hardest on every cases thrown on her desk.
Of course, finding her brother and loving her job seems to cover most of Paige's life, she still have a life of herself. On her down time, she loves to read, she loves to draw, and she loves to have a quiet off day at home, reading on her favorite seat by the window, having a warm cup of coffee at her side.
Being Paige, she believes in nature beauty, and she hates to purposely dress up just for a guy, seeing no point to impress a guy with how much skin she shows. Her pets peeves is having others to mess up with her job, or that when she passed someone a job, he/she never finish it properly. For her, if she can do the job perfectly fine with half the time she given the others, the others can do a good job for her within her time limit.
How is your character related to the story?
Paige's brother is being taken by a vampire when he was on the case of a vampire's murder. She has became an FBI to follow that case, and found out that there were a thousand other murder/missing case similar to this. Evidence eventually led her to suspect something supernatural is at work here.
She moves into Folks following her latest evidence of murder in Seattle. Her instinct told her that the killer has to be somewhere near the big town. And where is a better hiding place than a town like Folks? Some more, her research shows that there is never a crime like this in Folks while it happen all over US. She has a feeling that she is here to uncover something big.

Paige leaned back after finishing up her police report, she closed her eyes and savored the moment of victory as the pages being printed. She has for finally finished her report and closing up the latest case of murder she has been assisting Agent Sherman on.
It always feels good to solve a case, no matter how big or small it is.
Paige has just been an FBI agent a little over two months ago, and it's rather hard to imagine how creepy and tough the cases that has landed on their table. Most of the cases they are following are confidential, and many of them unsolvable, or rather, it takes years to solve them.
Paige is on FBI for one reason, she is here to follow her brother's case, which has been passed to the Feds 2 years ago, and the case is unsolved and untouched ever since it reached here. The Feds think that it is just a random case, but from what Paige is able to search up so far, similar killings and mysterious disappearance like this has been discovered all around United State, if only someone take some time and look into the pattern.
It's OK now, Paige will be following this case on her own starting tomorrow. Her boss, a.k.a. Agent Sherman has promised her to end her probation period after she assist him solving the case. She did it, she even finished up her report, and it will be filed and readied on his desk first thing tomorrow. And by the time he walks in and see it, Paige is probably halfway to Folks, where she discovered the latest evidence.
