Your name: Rea
Character's Name: Finnegan Celeste
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Vampire Age (Actual age if vampire. If none, but N.A.)
Category: Human
Character History: Finnegan grew up in Orlando, Florida. Accustomed to warm weather and the best orange juice there was to sell, Finnegan had a pretty normal childhood. Her father built houses for a living and her mom worked at a Hallmark store part-time while raising Finnegan and her younger sister Ellen. Finnegan met Jayden when she was about 8 and he became her first boyfriend when she turned 11. A year later, Jayden moved away to Forks after his mother’s passing. Finnegan was hurt by the move but tried to remain in touch and keep their relationship in tact. Everything went fine until bad luck seemed to hit Finnegan’s family. Finnegan’s dad fell off a ladder 2 ½ stories high at work, which resulted in serious injury and a concussion that he later died from. Not being able to deal with all the emotions, she cut Jayden off and the close friends she had. Her only remaining friend was her younger sister, who she is still extremely protective about up until this day. Her mother, who fell into a depression, decided to move to Forks (much like Jayden’s father) to get as far away from the place that took the man she loved from her. Since she cut ties with a lot of people already, the move wasn’t hard for Finnegan. She, however, wasn’t about to open up to anybody once she moved to Forks. She is now adjusting to her new, and much colder, life in Forks, Washington with her mother and younger sister.
Character Appearance: Finnegan is a little on the tall side, and has her mother’s lean frame. Her hair is naturally a honey blonde, but she has dyed it a darker brunette color for the time being. She has blue-green eyes and a full mouth. She tends to wear neutral colors, not one to try to stand out in a crowd.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths: intelligent, loyal, and determined once she has her mind set on something. Individualist.
Weaknesses: Overly Protective, Not one to approach people so has a cool demeanor, and can be a bit overwhelming/judgemental in order to get people to see her point of view.
Personality: Much like her father, Finnegan likes to help build things. Since his passing, Finnegan has found herself taking on the ‘manly’ chores of the household as in constructing tv stands, fixing a leak, etc. She also enjoys working outdoors, although she doesn’t feel the sun on her skin as often here. She is often seen dropping off her little sister at school or taking her shopping since her mother is either working or busying herself with stitching. Finnegan is very protective of her family, since she knows their family is an easy one to break. She doesn’t want to see herself as fragile, especially since her younger sister looks up to her as the head of the household more so than her mother.
How is your character related to the story? She just moved to Forks from Orlando.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Finnegan carefully walked on the sidewalk, avoiding the icy patches as the sky turned a dark gray above her. It was expected to snow again later today, and she would be working in the bakery until closing. The bakery, although it was a good store, didn’t always supply the best heat and often left Finnegan wearing gloves when the sun went down. It was around four in the afternoon as she turned the corner and spotted the sign for the bakery, where her new job as a cashier was handed to her thanks to her friendship with Courtland.
Being a graduate of highschool and still having no idea what she wanted to pursue in college, Finnegan had decided to take a year or two off. Besides, her family wasn’t in the best financial situation and she knew she would be heavily-loan dependent if she had decided to pursue college. She liked the small town feel of Forks, anyway. It was much different from Orlando, but finally in a good way.
Peering inside the large window, she waved when Courtland turned. Placing her hand on the cold doorknob, she twisted it before stepping inside. As previously mentioned, it wasn’t much warmer here then it was outside.
“So what’s on the list today, bossman?” she teased lightly, deciding to keep her jacket on besides hanging it up.
