Born in 6th June 1986 in Seoul Korea, Raphael is the youngest of his family of four.
A normal musician waiting to be debut, Raphael has a bright future ahead of him as a celebrity. He is talented, he is handsome, he is hardworking, and before debuting, he has got a tons of fans all loving him not only for his look, but also for his humble personalities.
But 2 weeks before his debut, he was attacked by a vampire. But somehow the creature never kill him in the process of feeding, leaving him to become a strong new vampire in town.
For the past 6 months, he tried to survive in his hometown. But his continuously cravings for blood made him worried that he will put his love ones at risk. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he couldn't seems to help it, somehow, every hunt seems instinctive, as if he is born to kill.
Finally, he decided to go another place to live. Swimming across the sea and running across the woods, he is hoping he will find someone like him.

Raphael is being dubbed as the Walking Sculpture by all his fans even before debut. After the change, everything about him is just as perfect as the fallen angel. He has somehow a babyish face when he smile, yet he can look mature and manly when he is serious. A fallen angel who breaks the heart of millions.
Raphael is an Asian, and his workout days from the gym has resulted in a nicely muscled body, not too obvious, just a slight hint under the shirt. But a very nice view upon revealing.
He love wearing black, and he love things with skull. To hide his red color eyes, Raphael also loves to wear sunglasses. He enjoys changing his style pretty much, a typical Gemini, so please do not freak out when you see him blonde hair with an angelic look one day, and the next he is spotted as a black haired hottie coming out of a model magazine.

Raphael is more or less, a typical guy who never notice too much, who never get what people mean when the others trying to send him silent signal. He is living in his own bubbly world, where everything is simple. To him, living is just like that. No he is not dumb, he is intelligent, once a good student who participate in many science and maths contests. His mind is turning quick which allows him to get ideas that no one really will thought of. He is quick learning and adaptive.
Being him, straight forward and truthful, he is someone one can trust. Yes, you have to tell him clearly what you feel so that he can understand, and he is the type who will show his warmth to you if you're close to him.
He loves fun, he likes a good game of soccer. He loves to play computer games, and he loves to win. And even if you think he is a complete psycho, he is fascinated by Aliens and UFO. He loves to play bass and guitar, and his love for songs and music is nothing can be compare to.
Right now, leading a new life, he is still lost, but he is slowly finding his way out. And hopefully, he can be what he always wanted to be.
How is your character related to the story?
Raphael is one of the new created vampire by someone who passed by Seoul. He was on the run because he doesn't want to be caught. Hence, he left his hometown behind, trying to find someone else like him, who can guide him and help him through all the agony.
He never plan on coming to Folks, but this is a town where he can hide and blend in nicely, with it being constantly covered by clouds and not much sunlight. He is just staying here temporary for now. As for whether he will stay permanently, that's depends on what he can find in Folks.

Since this is required, I supposed I can summit the story of how he became a vampire.
There was just 2 weeks to his debut, 2 weeks and his life will be officially begin. His dream, his whole life...
It was a night after a long practice, all the guys went out for a drink, he follows, glad of his day of work, though he knows he can always do better. He wants to be better, cause he can do it. And this is not tiring, practicing until 3 in the morning, it's kind of fun, he likes it.
"No problem, I can walk back home from here," he made his friend dropped him off at the corner, there is no need to send him inside, his apartment is just around the corner, there isn't anything that can happen to him as he is a man. Or so he thought.
He waved goodbye to all his friends, then turned to walk back to his home. It's kind of quiet, and in his slightly drunk head, he thought he saw a lady in front of him.
He smiled to himself, he must be drunk, now he is seeing things. It is almost 5 am in the morning, pretty ladies doesn't stand around on the street at this time of the day.
To prove himself right, he rubbed his eyes. When he looked up, the street returned to its initial emptiness and silence. He shrugged off his imagination and continue walking.
Jeong Hyun turned the corner, and saw a welcoming light from the building in front. Home Sweet Home. Just walk pass the abandoned building to his right and he is reaching home.
He never hears it coming, someone attacked him from the behind. He wanted to turn and fight, but there was just as much use as yelling to alert the neighbors. In the matter of seconds, he found himself paralyzed and lying on the ground, staring at the broken roof, like that of the abandoned building. That someone attacked him did something to him, or that he was just dreaming about the whole thing.
The latter seems more possible, especially when he saw a beautiful face stared at him from above. There is something off about her, maybe the lights are playing with his sight, he saw red in her eyes. But creepy or not, she is beautiful, like an angel.
He tried to say hi, but he still couldn't speak.
The angel lean toward him, and before his brain has any reaction, there came the heating pain on his neck. He could fight, he couldn't yell.
The excruciating pain went on and on, like a burning fire which is burning forever. The world went black, the last thought he has is has he arrived in hell.
He lost conscious for a while, but the pain brought him back. This time it was different, the burning pain is actually spreading this time round, and it went on slowly...
Days later, he woke up under the star lights, the clarity of his view scared him. But the thing that scare him most, is the burning in his throat, like he is craving for water, only the burn is ten time stronger.
He got up, amazed at its easiness after the attack. He knew he should be dead by now, but how is he still in this broken building? And everything felt so real to him. The clarity of his sight, his hearing, the smell, the feeling...
And then the wind brought him a scent so rich that made the burning in his throat worse.Instinctively, he ran after it. And he hunt.
