Sample of your RP-ing skills: Gavin was on his way home from the store, although he wouldn't necessarily call it home. He had lived there his whole life, but he never had an attachment to it. To him, it was just a house.

While he was putting the groceries up he heard his mother's cracking voice call his name. Gavin silently walking into her room.
"Yeah, mom?" He asked with slight concern. She had not been doing so well over the past few weeks, causing Gavin to be very worrisome about her.
"Did you get the milk?" She asked exchanging the look of concern. Gavin laughed and nodded his head. She had always been there for Gavin, when his father was not.
He headed for the door, and turned around, "Love you mom." He quickly exited the room, and heard he mumble something back. Gavin knew that she wasn't getting better, and that worried him. He spent most of his time trying to think of other things to occupy his mind, whenever he thought of her. He couldn't think of her like this, and neither could his sisters. He hated them for just leaving her to get worse, he felt like he was the only one who was thankful for his mother.
Gavin reentered the kitchen, and finished putting up the groceries.
