Your name: Gal
Character's Name: Virginia Bassett
Gender: Female
Age: 32
Vampire Age: 229
Category: Wild Vampire
Character History: Vergie was what her husband called her. But that was so long ago. It was 1812 and her hometown of Baltimore was thrown into war. In the center of the battle was Fort McHenry. Her husband, major William Bassett, was one of 1,000 protecting the fort against the British naval bombardment.
It was during that attack the Vergie's life would change forever. She watched and waited, staring at the American flag over the fort from her small house. If the flag fell all would be lost. After watching the battle for twenty hours, she could not take one more minute. The thought of losing her country as well as her husband pushed her out into the streets. That is were she saw him. Dressed in full uniform, he stood in the middle of the street. Still, unmoving like a statue. The cannon fire that filled the sky light his face. The bombs stopped. As the solders reloaded, all was dark. Pain filled her neck, then traveled down her body. No one heard her scream over the battle.
When the pain stop, her trust began. The British ships became her first meals. Helping to sway the battle.
Character Appearance: Long red hair, worn up in 1812, but in modern times leaves it down. Has also gotten brighter as the years have gone by. 5.3" medium build, pale just enough to blind in with humans, wears modern cloths in hiding, but loves to dress in a cloak and 18 century attar wail wondering the woods. Some humans have even called her the red ghost.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
strengths: blends in well with humans, has great self control when it comes to humans, skill with weapons
weakness: thanks of herself more then others, thinks humans have taken advance of their freedom, over confidence
Personality: Virginia loves to travel the US. She is very passionate about America. She had seen it had it's best and worst. She keeps her husbands old sword from the war with her and is well versed in it's fighting style. Unlike most vampire's she will use weapons if need be.
Virginia like to keep in the background and observe humans and their modern ways. And has learned over the years to control her blood lust. She had seen too much blood shed in her human life to justify unnecessary killing. She does feed on humans. When she has too. And is very selective as to who. Ones that will not be missed or are at the end of there life.
How is your character related to the story? Came to Forks because she heard of a vampire clan that does not kill humans. She did not know that was an option.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Virginia stood looking over modern day Fort McHenry. What once was a battlefield now seemed nothing more then a tourist trap. Standing high on the star shaped protected wall she could still smell the blood that was shed so long along.
"Do they really know what went on here?" She thought. "Do they really care?" Quickly jumping down before she was spotted, Virginia wanted to take one last look before leaving.
She had heard of vampires who feed off animals, and work along side humans. She wonder if this was at all possible. She was tried of blood shed. She had seen too much of it in her life time. And if these vegan vamps could help her in anyway, then it was worth the trip across the states to Forks, Washington.
