Your name: hai, my name is starlene.
Character's Name: Alexia Ava Turner, commonly called Alex, Lexi, and Lexia but Alexia is totally awesome as well.
Gender: Female.
Age: 18
Category: Human
Character History: Alexia was born and grew up in New York City. Her father was a surgeon and her mother was a wedding planner for the rich and famous. Growing up, Lexi could tell that her parents had marriage problems. Her dad thought her mom was too obsessed with being rich and wealthy (which she sure was,) and her dad really became a surgeon just to help people. So, they divorced when she was 6 years old. Alexia then grew up in New York City with her mother, as an only child. She grew up living the life, but all Alexia really wanted to do was be an artist. But her mother said 'You can't make a living that way!' so she suggested Alexia take a gap year from college and figure out what she really wanted. That was when her mother sent her to Forks, Washington to live with her Grandmother. She said it was a different enviroment, so she might find something else. All Lexi saw were beautiful landscapes she could draw...
Character Appearance: Lexi is tall, at about 5'10. She has golden blonde hair and brown eyes. She's long legged and lean. Her skin is slightly tanned in the summer but otherwise pale. She has no piercings except for her earlobe.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
+Artist
+Sensible
+Fast
-Not the smartest (though sensible)
-Can't carry a tune
-Is only determined when wants to
Personality:
Lexi grew up an artist, and had sense that came along with it. She knew art was hard to be successful in, but it was something she was determined to do. She grew up, however, not the smartest because she was always drawing. She doesn't really understand how less fortunate some people are in the world but is getting there. She's very nice but never talks about her father. Lexi, otherwise, is actually a big talker and unlike other artists, can talk while she is drawing and painting and loves to do so while painting. So she's a big talker whose basically always bubbly, and she's almost never nasty and when she is she chooses to be quiet rather than fight it out, as it reminds her of her parents with their yelling.
Her hobbies really only include art, running, and hanging out with her friends. In her free time and when she is not doing art she is usually running. She's extremely fast though her technique is off and she keeps her feet close to the ground when she runs.
How is your character related to the story? She lives in Forks. She's a human.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Lexi put her last items in her various bags. This was really it. Her mother didn't want her to be an artist, and she wanted her to take a gap year. In Forks, the boringest town on the whole entire planet. Lexia had been there once. She stayed the summer when she was 14. Though there were cute guys (both on the reservation and off) the only thing Alexia had actually taken a liking to was the landscape, with the water and the trees and the forests.. She loved that, except for the fact most of the time it was raining which seriously messed with her oil paints.
"Hurry up." Her mother called. "Your plane departs in 2 and a half hours, and you still have to go through baggage check. Your car is waiting outside." Her mother said. Her mom never liked goodbyes, though Alexia got the feeling her mother didn't really care about this one. Alexia didn't know why she would've. It seemed like Lexi's mom would do whatever it took to make sure she didn't apply or go to RISD; ever, even if it meant treating her like trash to make her not go. But after her gap year, well, that was it for Alexia. She was applying with RISD and she was either getting the merit scholarship or using her own money. It was expensive, sure, but her mother was loaded and Alexia hadn't gone months without buying anything but art supplies for no reason.
Two strong men brought Alexia's bags down to the first floor and into the car her mother had called, which Lexi found funny because her mom had hired them even though there was an elevator. Alexia went down the elevator onto the first floor of the apartment building, coming down from the three-floor penthouse. But this wasn't goodbye to Lexi's life.
Because Lexi's life was art.
