Schuyler will need a lot of friends to make her feel safe. When she was in California she didn't spend as much time with her friends as she should have and eventually they all just kinda left. After that her boyfriend started abusing her. She feels like the more people you have around the less vulnerable she is. While she may only become friends with someone in the beginning for that reason, Sky is really friendly and an honest and loyal friend.
