Is anyone else a little annoyed with how the last book ended? I mean I would like to know what happens between Jake and Renesemme! I don't think I spelt her name right but whatever.
Tell me what you think!!

I agree!!! Ahh, it bugged me so bad to find out that they weren't going into detail on that. I was really hoping that Stephanie might a book about the two of them but, of course, it didn't happen. I think that their story could make a really interesting book honestly.

I'd say just give it time. Once the movie hype dies down a little, Stephanie herself will want to probably expand on the story. She might miss the characters-- I know when I write I like to go back to dead/unfinished stories because I miss the characters. She already had the side story indulging the tale of Bree Tanner, so I expect she might go on to give an elongated epilogue of sorts... perhaps even another full book? (i know i'd love that!)
I also think, if anyone read the short second life of Bree Tanner, that Stephenie Meyer set herself up for another installment in the series. In that side book, it became evident that the Volturi had a secret and the sub plot is revealed that I can't imagine the Volturi will never meddle in the lives of the Cullens again...
all in all I guess give it time, i could just be over thinking it... my brain is kind of fried, its almost 4am, i have sleep problems, lol.
so yeah, RANT OVER. (sorry for the long reply! I'm in the mood to write I guess, haha!)

I kinda wanted what J.K. Rowling did to happen. A short, five page Epilogue. That would've done me right. Ugh, so in the dark!

Yeah I agree with the JK Rowling thing. A short little epilogue would have done the job. Even a nice little 1 page thing would have done the job. It could even have been like: "Bella and Edward went on to live a quiet life in Forks, Emmett and Rosalie took a year abroad to actually live in Africa like their cover-up suggested. Alice, Jasper, Esme, and Carlisle continued to live their normal lives in Washington. Renesmee and Jacob lived happily in La Push, and when Renesmee came of age, they bought a house together and had a small, beautiful baby girl named (fill in the blank). No one was particularly bothered by the Volturi again after they left." I mean obviously a little more in depth than that, but I mean I wrote that in like 2 seconds so gimme a break But yeah I would have liked a little more resolution, and I hope Stephanie Meyers continues to write more about the lives of those involved in the Twilight universe.

I also think she should've shined some more light on the human characters, like Charlie, Mike, Jessica and Angela. Cause everythings been centered around all this supernatural stuff, with Bella, the Cullens and wolf pack. I wanted to know what Bella's friends thought when she first moved to Forks, or when she was going through her depression and things like that. Not all of them obviously, but just a book in one of her friends point of view to give a different perspective. Or maybe even a book in Billy or Charlie's point of view lol

Personally, the last book is all a big black blur to me cause I did not like it all. It disappointed me greatly. I loved the Deathly Hallows, and I know I really shouldn't be comparing Twilight to Harry Potter, but it seems like everyone does that. What I loved about the Deathly Hallows, though, is that even though at times it seemed like there was no way Harry could beat Voldemort, he did. It ended. It was done. He was gone forever. With the ending of Breaking Dawn it wasn't like it was an ending at all, you know? It does make it seem like she'll write more books in the future, and then she goes on to say that she won't. It's all just very frustrating. Haha. So yeah, those are my thoughts on it.

Yeah in the end of Breaking Dawn it was just like "oh and then the Volturi left. no big deal. then everyone went home " and it was really stupid. It bothered me a ton, and there wasn't really a big conflict in it. Like never did I think that Bella was going to die or anything, and the only person I was at all worried for was little Renesmee.

I think the reason Steph did not do an epilogue of any sort to say what happens after is because after she finishes The Host trilogy she plans on expanding Twilight. I mean, I'm pretty sure at least, it seems that way.
