Character History: Penny was born and raised in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. While she was happy with her family, they just never seemed to fit in well with the town. Between Penny and her sister Mikayla and brother Drew they were almost always doing something to get them in trouble. Finally, their parents decided that they had had enough and moved them out to Forks, Washington. Penny's parents threatened them with punishments trying to make them behave. They decided it was probably best to keep them happy for now, though none of them are particularly looking forward to living in such a damp and lonely place.
Character Appearance: Penny stands at about 5' 2" and has been there for years. She's small but has never let that stand in her way. She has medium length wavy blonde hair and hazel eyes. She usually keeps her hair straight or curled neatly. She hates leaving the house looking anything less then decent.

Personality: Penny has never been a quiet person. She has always been one to let her opinions be obvious. She hates showing fear and will always be the one to hide it. She sometimes has a problem with authority and will do what ever she can to get around rules and laws. But that never effects her outward appearance. She can charm anyone with a smile and a nod, even if it is mostly fake. Over all, though, Penny can be super sweet. Sometimes it takes a while to get to that layer but once someone has made it that far it's hard to get rid of her. She is loyal and caring and will never let a friend down.
Penny has many hobbies. She likes music and movies and is often found with an ipod. Her biggest hobby is reading and she is never found with out a book. She loves her siblings and spending time with them no matter how much they squabble. She's always been a really open and accepting person, especially coming from such a small, church going town. It runs in the family though and she couldn't enjoy it more.
How is your character related to the story? While Penny has not lived in Forks, Washington her entire life, she did just move there. She is also in a relationship with a werewolf, Jeremy, so sooner or later she will have to find out.

Penny looked around at her room, her hands on her hips. It had taken days to unpack but now that it was all done she was happy. It looked great too. She had been allowed to paint it and she picked a nice purple the went well with her taste. This room was bigger then her room back in Bon Temps, especially since she had shared with Mikayla. Not that she mind sharing, it was just nice to have her own place now. She could get away when she wanted, there was even a lock on the door.
Now, either that meant her parents were trusting, or really stupid. Penny went with really stupid due to the fact that this made sneaking out much easier. And now that she had Jeremy in the picture, that was almost all she did. She liked sneaking out, especially to meet him. And her siblings were great out watching out for her.
It was too easy really, but way too much fun. With a basement room it was as easy as climbing out a window. She did it more then she used the door, but mostly it was just good fun. Especially since she knew her parents would probably let her go anyways. It was just more fun keeping things from them.
Especially her dad since he would probably flip if he knew she had been sneaking around with a boy. Sure, they'd done lots of things that he would threaten to kill Jeremy for, but she had liked it all. It was funny since she was raised so modest.
She smiled as she looked herself over in the mirror. She called Jeremy, wanting to see him again. That was common, always thinking about him and missing him. This was just the start of a beautiful relationship.
