Character History: Claire was born and raised in Liverpool with her father. Her mother disappeared when she was only 3, rumored to escape to the America's to escape her father. Claire was raised with an acceptable life though she never really received much maternal love. Her father never remarried nor spent much time with her. She was mostly raised by several different nannies. It wasn't until she was three days from her birthday that he father announced that Claire would be relocated to Washington for a supposedly great job opportunity. Claire was rather unhappy about this decision, leading her to hate everything that came her way. Until things started to look up. Starting with friends, to liking her job, to falling in love, to imprinting.
Character Appearance: Claire is about 5' 2" but carries her small stature well. She has natural Blondie hair at a medium length that she cares for almost as much as her own body. She has light, piercing blue green eyes. She never cared much for keeping up with style trends. Instead, she wears what she like which varies from day to day.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Claire has always been strongly opinionated. Whether this is considered a strength or a weakness is a matter or opinion. Claire has always been good at reading people, body language and tone of voice. She is also good at hiding how she really feels, able to lie to with ease. On the other end, Claire is not as emotionally matured as most 18 year old girls. Because she never had the proper parenting her development has been slightly off balance. She has trouble feeling anything for herself, such as love or happiness in who she is. Because of this, she had never cared much about her body. Her biggest weakness is alcohol. She started using at a young age so keeping away proves difficult.
Personality: Claire has a strong personality that isn't always easy to unlock. While she is friendly and outgoing, she hides most of her personality, only opening up for people who she really trusts. Her inner turmoil about herself is something she has never opened up to anyone. She hates looked weak, filling her outer personality with fake strength and confidence.
Claire has never been a "settle on something" kind of girl. She loves trying new things, looking for that perfect one but scarcely finding it. She loves reading, and song writing. Secretly she wants nothing more then to fall and love and have a happy family.
How is your character related to the story? Claire lives in Forks, Washington with the rest of the characters. Not only that, but she's also been imprinted on by Charlie.

It was easy to go to the bar, get a little drink, go home with someone, have a little fun and then leave. What was really hard with becoming attached, making a friend. That's exactly what had happened to Claire. In the few weeks that she had lived in little old Forks, Washington she had made a best friend and fallen in love. Or so she had thought. It was hard to love someone who was never around.
Maybe things would be different, she thought, if Dom had actually stuck around. From where she was standing today she would have hated it. Not being with her imprint, Charlie, would feel like hell. Even being a few miles away for hours at a time felt like her heart was being crushed. It was almost silly to her, being so attached to someone. But then she would see him or touch him and totally understand.
It was beautiful, that silly thing called life. She felt like pieces of herself were finally falling in to place. She didn't have to be afraid or lonely anymore. She was always told that she didn't need a guy to complete her. But now, those words couldn't be more untrue. She was complete with Charlie. Completely whole and in love. Life was truly what she had wished it would be.
