Gender: Male
Age: 21
Vampire Age: N/A

Character History: Ethan was born in a small town, right outside of San Diego to his parents Alexander and Nicole Shepard. From birth, Ethan was very artistic and talented. He began to show signs of much brain activity by the age of two when he was already beginning to say full sentences, play games like chess and cards, and reciting his ABC’s. By the age of four, he knew all fifty states and was entered into a science fair at seven, which he won for a large experiment on the earth gravitational pull. He was skilled in most sports throughout his young years but stuck mostly to football and surfing. At thirteen, he broke his arm while surfing near a rocky area. It took him a while to heal but during that time, he began to get into reading and after the three months of healing, he had read over 60 novels.
When he got into high school, Ethan never had a hard time hanging out with the people he felt fit his social level. He was always easy to talk to and did his best to be a good friend and fit in. By the time he graduated, he was an honor student and class president. After a year, he and his parents moved to La Push, trying to get closer to family who resided in Seattle. Now, he takes college courses online and helps out around the house while his parents work.
Character Appearance: Ethan is a blonde haired, green eyed hunk to say the least. His eyes change from green to blue depending on his mood and his body is well toned. He is about 6' 2" and his face is well defined. He is usually dressed in button up shirts with jeans and tennis shoes or in board shorts with a surf board in his harms.

Personality: Ethan isn't a very quiet person, but he is a laid back type of guy. He does not mind being center of attention but hates when he is put in the spot light. He enjoys just sitting back and watching a situation as well as being involved. Being a good listener and observer always seemed useful to him. Besides being laid back, he enjoys sarcasm but also knows when it is time to be serious. He is quite mature for his age, yet enjoys having fun, and does his best not to try to hard when it comes to women.
Aside from that, he is kind and helpful in almost any situation. He would rather talk out issues than use physical force but he is quite strong and does not have any issues defending himself. He likes small groups rather than large ones, but he is trying to broaden his group of friends. He likes company yet enjoys being on his own. He is creative, calm, positive, and a good company when one is lonely.
How is your character related to the story? His parents used to live in La Push but left after they were married. They travels quite a bit and did their best to help Ethan grow up and know about his history but it was difficult without him experiencing the culture around La Push. They decided that they would move back after his high school years and did so. Now, he remains the newbie and hopes to fit in, some how.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Ethan could already hear the voices and his stomach turned from nervousness. Students passed him quickly, almost pushing him out of the way as they walked towards the school. It seemed as though everyone had already made friends and he instantly felt slightly alone. His parents were not there to escort him and though he was not a child, he felt out of place without them. He made his way down the walkway, away from the dormitories, his eyes on the large building ahead that seemed to stand many stories in the air. It was almost intimidating, the size of everything around, but he kept his cool, shoving his hands in his pockets, and making his way into the entrance of the school.
His eyes caught sight of everything around him once inside and it literally took his breath away. It was way larger than he had imagined and already, he was lost. He had no idea where to go or what to do, so he just stood. Students gathered in groups, laughing and joking around. He had already been shown around but had forgotten it all already. He noticed the same woman who had shown his around, Headmistress was her name if he recalled, walking towards the dining hall and many people following. Doing so himself, he made way into the large room that could seat hundreds. He couldn't help but smile at how lucky he was. He really was going to need to study up on his surroundings so that he wouldn't have any issues when it came time to find his way to classes.
He took a seat in the back, watching as more and more people filed in and took their seats as well. He noticed a few people here and there that he had seen earlier but still knew nothing about them. Taking it all in, he sighed and leaned back in his seat, watching everyone. His eyes caught small details, as did his ears. He could hear music from iPods playing and certain words in conversations from across the room. He noticed some of the things that people were wearing or had in their hands and he smiled. At least he would eventually tell all of the apart. His curly hair hung over his forehead and swayed as he moved his head from left to right, watching everyone. His green eyes glanced around from one person to another and eventually back to the headmistress as he watched her walk around, not planning on speaking to many people here. Besides, he was not exactly in touch with anyone here and a conversation would just seem, well, awkward for him.
