Character History: Madisen grew up in Forks, Washington with her biological parents and younger brother. Her family had moved around a few times but never stayed out of Forks long. When Madisen was very young, (7ish) her father lost his job and became and alcoholic. It wasn't long after that when Madisen became the target of his anger. She was abused since then and to this day.
Character Appearance: Madisen is tall and beautiful, perfect for a modeling career (though she'd never really been interested). Her blond hair sports many styles, from short to long she's done everything. Currently, she stays with a medium length, mostly playing with the bangs and texture. She has sea green eyes that she loves to play up with makeup and a moderate style that varies on her mood.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Madisen's strengths include her emotional stability, for she had always been good at expressing her emotions and dealing with them properly, her outgoing personality, and her sense of responsibility. She had never let down what she needed to do. Her weaknesses include her self esteem, because of her father it has always been shaky. Also, her lack of self pride because she has never really felt proud of herself. And thirdly, sometimes she can be a little air headed. "I'm with stoopid".
Personality: Madisen has a quirky personality. Most of the time she is cheerful and full of smart alec comments. Though many times, her comments leave the crowd silent because of how daft they may seem. Of course, Maddy never means to be like that. Most of the time she seems carefree and loving, full of joy and happiness.
But there is a darker side to Maddy's personality. Sometimes, she falls into a depression. When home life is rather difficult, she has no way of coping with it. Her mind wanders and the more daft side of her personality comes out. Her thoughts fade between hated or others and self hate, though she has never been one to express those.
How is your character related to the story? As Madisen grew up in the town of Forks, she automatically counts toward the story. She also has a best friend who is a werewolf that she doesn't know about. (Marshall)
Sample of your RP-ing skills: Madisen sucked in a deep breath. Her father was drunk again, nothing unusual. She was hiding out in her room, hoping today wouldn't end up like the last time. She rubbed her wrist where the bruises were almost all faded now. She was sick of this, so sick of being a punching bag to her dead-beat father. But what could she do? If she left home, who would he take his anger out on?
She would never risk that. Her father treated her mother and brother as he should. It was only her that took the brunt of the problem. She wouldn't let him hurt them.
Madisen was was secretive about this whole situation. She was embarrassed and hurt and honestly didn't know how to handle it all. She had trusted only one person with this information. Sylvia had always been there for her, which is the only reason she had told.
Today, she wasn't going to stay home. Today, she had decided, she was going to take Sylvi's advice. She climbed out of the window and ran, straight to Sylvia, right in to her arms. There was nothing she could do now except hope that her brother and mother were okay.
