Your name: Jessica (or Jes for short)
Character's Name: Lola Hart
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Vampire Age: N/A
Category: Human
Character History:
Lola was born in Kansas City, MO and has lived most of her life there. She loved the city and loved all of the fun events such as outdoor concerts, parades, and PRIDE festivals. When Lola turned 16, though, her father died and she went into a state of depression. She began drinking, doing drugs, and having promiscuous sex with random men and that is when her mother decided; enough was enough. A year later Lola was dragged, by her mother, to Forks, Washington in hopes of calming down her wild side by getting out of a big city and into a smaller area.
So far, Lola has yet to find anything in Forks that makes her happy, especially since she is so far away from her true home. All she wants is for someone to come into her life and lift her spirits, helping her get over the death of her father and help her through her addictions.
Character Appearance:
Lola is very petite in size, standing at about 5’4” and weighing just over 120 lbs. Her skin is very fair with light pink undertones. Lola likes to keep her light blonde hair long and choppy with heavy black underneath, giving her hair a very drastic contrast against her skin. She keeps her eyes lined with heavy noir eyeliner and mascara, making her baby blue eyes pop.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Lola is very opinionated and does not hesitate to speak her mind. She is also very artistic and fun to be around when she is with people she trusts. On the other hand, Lola can come off, at first, as snobby and rude. She has a difficult time trusting people and she does not like to get close to anyone, especially men since she recently lost her father.
Personality:
Lola is very quiet and keeps to herself a lot when she does not know anyone around her, so this is especially true since she moved to Forks. She desperately wants to make friends and be able to trust them, but it is hard for her to do so because she fears rejection.
Once someone gets to know Lola, though, she is loud, outgoing, and fun. She has a very bubbly and happy personality when she is surrounded by people that she loves and that make her happy.
How is your character related to the story?:
Ever since Lola’s first day in Forks, she noticed that some of the students in her new school did not seem to fit in with everyone else. Not because they were just outcasts or new like her, but everything about them was different. They were much more beautiful, graceful, and confident than any normal person so she started doing a little research. She has made guesses that these people are actually vampires, but of course she has not been able to prove this. She is fascinated by these creatures, though, and longs to become one herself.
Sample of your RP-ing skills:
Lola closed the door to the house behind her and slipped on her oversized sunglasses, camera in hand. It was her first full week in Forks so she was taking this time to explore the town and document everything. Taking pictures was something Lola has always been very passionate about and what better way to get to know the town of Forks than by taking pictures of everything she can see?
She shuffled off down the road and sighed. This town was nothing like what she was used to. In Kansas City there were tall buildings, fountains, and busy cars everywhere but here, everything seemed so… dead. To her left, all Lola could see was trees. The whole town seemed to be right in a forest, which was something she did not think she would ever get used to. But, against her better judgment, Lola trudged across a neighbor’s lawn to the forest, hoping to at least fine some inspiration to take pictures.
After half an hour of walking deep into the forest, Lola stopped and plopped down on a fallen tree. There was nothing here. “This is so terrible…” She mumbled to herself and sighed. She laid back on the branch and closed her eyes. It seemed like the only good thing about this place was that it put her to sleep easily.
In the distance there was a howling noise that startled Lola awake, making her tumble off of the branch.
“oomph…”
Lola hopped up quickly, brushing herself off and looking around for the animal that made the noise.
“What the hell was that…?”
