It's okay babe! I understand! These notes are perfectly fine! But I love you for being honest, I really do. I'm a big girl, I'm sure I can handle your shortness (no pun intended). I love you whether you call me or don't call me. I love you whether you're stressed or not stressed. Being with you is all I can ask. Sam's giving me a break. He said with all the drama with Jaelle and stuff that I need a few weeks off. So I'll come over and just give this to you tonight.
Jae's going to be fine Nate. She's a spitfire and isn't going to let anyone tell her who she can and can't remember. She'll come outta this, I promise. As for Miller, you hear what the doctors said! He's gonna' be fine too hun. Plus he's got great parents (from what I saw of them) and he's got Julia. There's enough worried people to take care of him. They wouldn't have sent him home if he hadn't been doing better.
And your dad. I know what you're going through. I mean, you saw what happened to our dad after Mom died. Cancer's a long road. But I don't think that it's "given" to the weakest of people. Bill is just like Jae. It's almost erie how alike they are. He's not going to let some doctor tell him how long he has to live. The last time I sat down with your dad (it's been a while since I've been over there) he seemed pretty ready for this challenge. I mean, you know your dad Nate, He's the greatest man we know.
I remember when we were kids, I asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up and you said to me "I want to be my daddy when I grow up" Back then I just thought you were crazy! I didn't understand! Now I do! You're exactly like him too. Gentle, sweet, kind, caring. But when the right thing sets you off you're ready to protect your family. Kinda' like that night at the restaurant? Our date? The waiter just glanced at me and you were ready to send him through a window!
Not many people are like that sweetie. That's one of the things I love about you. And by the way, you've been a fine boyfriend lately. We all do the best we can for who we are. I love you Nate. I love you so so much. I honestly have no clue how I ever lived without you! You're just... I can't even explain. You're perfect really. In every way. You're kind, sweet, reliable, faithful, trusting. The list goes on, those ones are just my favorites.
I'm not trying to hold you up as some God either. I just know how you're feeling right now. It can't be good. Everyone needs a little bit of a self esteem boost sometimes. I know I do, a lot. But just by you being there, I always ask myself "What the hell could I have possibly done to deserve a guy like you?" Must've done something right. Guys like you aren't free
